The University started offering its postgraduate programs in the late 80's. One of the goals of the University is the advance of learning and research at the postgraduate level. To realize this goal, the University constantly upgrades itself in the support for postgraduate studies administration, including the supervision of research students, to provide a good and congenial environment for postgraduate studies. The Graduate School is a unit established in April 2002 for the promotion of research postgraduate studies and the co-ordination of taught postgraduate work. Currently, the number of postgraduate students of the University accounts for approximately 30% of the total enrolment.
